About DioWarriors
As always, DioWarriors products are not toys, but model kits intended for adults. Keep away from children and from anyone who can not handle small stuff.
Who Are We?
We are DioWarriors -- a group of toy photography enthusiasts. This web site is the DioWarriors Store where we sell our uniquely designed props, vehicles, sets, and Action Figures.
The DioWarriors team have been involved with the toy collecting scene for a long time, especially with toy photography. We build sets, make customs, do toy review videos, and are active with various conventions. We shop around and hit the toy stores and buy on ebay -- we do the same thing our customers do -- we are also collectors. With the props we sell we try to keep prices low and designs modular and reusable. Our point of view as designers is from the perspective of the typical collector and not from the Accounting department.
This is our hobby just as much as it is yours. We know how much collections cost -- both in time and money -- so we want our props to be as useful and as well designed and made as we possibly can.

Our Products?
We design and manufacture all the products in this store ourselves. All Items are intended for the adult Action Figure collector, not for children. The products are designed similar to a model kit: depending on the model there may be assembly, post-work (sanding, surface preparation, etc,) and painting involved. There may be many small pieces. Items may require glue or other means of assembly (snap fit, etc).
The products are designed primarily for toy photography purposes. Our sets, for example, are raised on frames with enough space underneath for wiring LED's for lighting. All sets are designed to be durable enough for setting up a photo-shoot display, then broken down for storage. But keep in mind that all the sets and props are designed for you to further custom and make them uniquely your own. Our products serve as a jumping point for you to quickly build up a scene as small or as large as you need.

Scales?
By default we design for the 1:18 scale. However, we are not opposed to other scales. Some on our team collect 1:12, 1:6, and even wants to try 1:3 scales. Not everything we do might be for action figures either.
Every product we include the scale. When a scale is not known we indicate that and try to show how the product looks next to a scale it looks best with.

Materials?
Depending on the model, materials used may be 3D printed using either PLA or ABS plastic, resin, and injection molded. We do this to take advantage of the benefits of different materials. Example, resin is easy to alter -- smoothing, carving, cutting. 3D printed parts are often used for small, thin pieces that are too delicate for resin or even injection molding. But please keep in mind our products are not intended for children, or anyone who does not know how to handle small plastic, resin, or metal parts responsibly.
DioWarriors recycles, and reuses our own discarded plastic filaments. Instead of contributing to a landfill, we actively reuse our own discarded plastic filaments. 3D Printing generates a lot of wasted plastic -- a printed raft to secure a model to the build plate, support structures for overhanging parts. These additional material to print a model is discarded, but instead of tossing these things into the trash or recycle bin, we simply reprocess the material into our own filament for printing again.

Assembly Instructions?
Some of our models require assembly, some do not. Those that do the assembly instructions tend to be a video. The instructions are located on the product's page in the "Assembly" tab.
Quality of Parts...
We try our utmost to design the highest quality models possible. Then we manufacture with the best equipment we have. To keep costs down for our customers we manufacture as much as we can in-house.
3D Prints:
With all 3D printed models there is always a side that touches the build plate platform. The printer prints on this platform, building layers up. The side that comes in contact with the build plate usually does not have the sharpest details or the best quality. We try to minimize this in our designs, but with the nature of 3D printing this is an issue no 3D printer can truly avoid.
There is also the issue of algorithm consistency. We use different brands of printers and some use their own proprietary software. Software gets updated and we find that the quality of printing has changed -- usually better, but since we're doing mostly 1:18 scale stuff, any change with a print is noticeable. We try to minimize consistency issues, but sometimes it is simply beyond our control. We try to make known when there is a significant change in the product detailed description.

Painting
By default none of our products are painted. There are some exceptions. Where we can we indicate how a prop might look painted or make a color recommendation.
The Exceptions:
Sometimes folks want a part pre-painted and simply do not want to bother customizing a prop. So you might see from time-to-time a selection for either painted or unpainted items.

Injection Molding
Some of our items are injection molded. We do the injection molding ourselves. Mostly large items that take a long time to print are injection molded.
Injection Molding as a Service:
DioWarriors is considering offering injection molding as a service. This service would be for large quantity orders for non-DioWarriors products. We'll post more information as we move closer to this service.

Which DioWarriors is Best For You?
We have multiple websites or groups: the DioWarriors Store (this one that you are reading now) is where we sell our unique props and sets; the DioWarriors web site (diowarriors.com) is focused more on our manufacturing side; the Facebook page is how we keep everyone informed of news and things we're doing; and the Facebook group is where we goof off and interact with everyone in a non-business manner -- after all the DioWarriors team is a group of action figure collectors who like to do customs and build sets.
- DioWarriors Store (this web site) - is where we sell our unique props, vehicles, sets, and action figures. If you are an action figure collector, the DioWarriors Store might fit your needs the best.
- DioWarriors.com - This is the business side of DioWarriors where we offer our manufacturing ability as a service for you. DioWarriors Manufacturing focuses primarily on small production runs (< 3000 units) and high resolution 3D Printing for factory level prototyping.
- DioWarriors Facebook Group - Join us on Facebook. A relaxed group where collectors get together, discuss, and post photos of their collection.
